The Baccalaureate degree program, Master’s degree program, and Post-Graduate APRN Certificate program in nursing at Cal State LA Patricia A. Chin School of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Ali Tayyeb, an assistant professor in the Patricia A. Chin School of Nursing, completed a memorial art project to honor health care professionals who have lost their lives during the pandemic.

Who is Patricia A. Chin?

California State University, Los Angeles dedicated its first named school, the Patricia A. Chin School of Nursing, in honor of the alumna and longtime faculty member. Patricia A. Chin earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing at Cal State LA and taught at the university for many years, later serving as director and, upon her retirement, professor emerita.
